The Rebels of Rave
Since 2021, BassWar & CaoX have developed a distinct hard dance profile built for peak time stages: high-BPM pressure, euphoric hooks and a show identity that turns mainstream familiarity into harder rave impact.
Their rise began with Apologize alongside Harris & Ford, followed by high-reach releases such as Teenage Dirtbag or Believe with HBz. The catalogue now spans original productions, official covers, collaborations and remixes, including releases on established international dance labels and one Major Label release.
The duo currently reach a global audience with more than 150 million worldwide streams, more than 110,000 followers across social platforms and around 70,000 subscribers on their YouTube Official Artist Channel. Within the hardstyle niche, their OAC is one of their strongest discovery channels; their combined monthly reach sits in the range of 1.5 – 2 million listeners and viewers.
BassWar & CaoX tracks have been supported in sets by Timmy Trumpet, KSHMR and other leading electronic acts, reaching major festival contexts such as Tomorrowland, Ultra Music Festival Miami, Defqon.1 and Parookaville.
On stage, the duo have built momentum through Winterbeats, Germany Goes Zrce on the NOA and Papaya mainstages, and a two-hour debut on the Mainstage of Bootshaus Cologne. They are also part of the Winterbeats Festival team and host the Snowstorm side stage.
In parallel, BassWar & CaoX founded ACTIVATED Records in 2021 as a label society for the hard dance community. The platform shares opportunities, know-how and structure with emerging artists.
Under the REBELS OF RAVE banner, their sound combines party energy, hard drive and euphoric release beyond 150 BPM. Their live identity is built as a full show act: exclusive mashups, a large bootleg archive, more than 50 officially released covers and a set dramaturgy designed for immediate crowd reaction. The in-house mascot Fluffy – the Scary Bunny, recognizable stage styling and venue-specific visual concepts give each show a consistent frame.
A passion project went viral on YouTube — and officially became BassWar & CaoX.
BassWar & CaoX and their emerging label, ACTIVATED Records, celebrated their first successes.
Discovered by Harris & Ford, the duo broke through with “Apologize” and made their first major stage appearances.
A Harris & Ford follow-up and a collaboration with HBz brought BassWar & CaoX to an even wider audience.
Ongoing worldwide support from Timmy Trumpet and KSHMR strengthens the brand and drives its growth.
ACTIVATED grew into a network. B&C and the label celebrate five years, with 150 million worldwide streams for the duo and over 500 million across all artists within the network.
